The story

Low, wide and hard to kill.

Soft, feathery bright green foliage that spreads into a low carpet. It holds slopes, spills over walls and fills hot, dry spots where grass gives up. It stays green all winter.

Light

Full sun.

Water

Water weekly the first season. After that, only in drought.

Planting

Spring or fall. Any well-drained soil, including poor and alkaline soil. Mulch between plants until they fill in.

Covers a slope or a hard corner for good with almost no upkeep.
