The story

Early blooms, ending red.

Big, dense flower heads in early summer, weeks ahead of most panicle hydrangeas, that open white and move through blush and bright pink to red. Strong stems hold them up.

Light

Full sun to part shade. At least four hours of sun for strong stems and color.

Water

Water weekly the first two summers. After that, in dry spells.

Planting

Plant in spring or fall, crown at soil level.
