The story

Low, wide, and pink in fall.

Semi-double, hot pink flowers with gold centers from fall into early winter. It grows low and wide, which makes it a hedge, a ground cover under trees, or an espalier.

Light

Filtered sun to part shade. Tolerates fairly deep shade.

Water

Even moisture, especially in late summer when buds set.

Planting

Plant slightly high in acidic, well-drained soil with organic matter. Mulch with pine bark.

Color for the shady north side of the house at the time of year nothing else blooms.
