The story
Dark purple, ruffled, sun-proof.
Ruffled flowers in deep plum-purple with a bright yellow-green throat that holds its color without fading in full sun. Midsummer bloom on a clump that only gets better each year.
Light
Full sun for the most flowers; afternoon shade is fine in hot areas.
Water
Water to establish. After that it handles dry spells, but blooms better with regular water.
Planting
