The story
Violet midribs, gold flecks
Glossy, pointed dark green leaves with a violet midrib and flecks of gold, in a dense, upright clump. Brighter light holds the color, but it tolerates a dim corner. A good choice for a conference room with sad overhead lighting.
Light
Low to bright, indirect light. More light keeps the violet and gold sharper.
Water
Let the top couple of inches dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly.
Pot and soil
A well-draining potting mix with perlite.
It survives the sad overhead lighting and still looks good doing it.
