What it comes in
4.5 or 6.5 in. pot; size up one or two inches every couple of years.
Cream edges, staying power
Glossy bright green leaves edged in cream on slender, arching branches, in a full, bushy shape. It's bred to keep its leaves instead of shedding them every time you move it. Bright light keeps the cream edges crisp.
Light
Bright, indirect light, close to a window. Variegated figs fade toward plain green in dim rooms.
Water
Water when the top inch is dry and let it drain. Don't let it sit wet or dry out completely.
Pot and soil
Well-draining potting mix with a little bark or perlite. Repot in spring when roots fill the pot.
It brings a lighter, brighter tree shape to a room that has too much dark furniture.
Complete the planting.
