The story

Big pink, no flop.

Large, rounded heads of soft pink flowers on stems strong enough to hold them up, from early summer into fall. It's a native smooth hydrangea that blooms on new wood, so a cold winter won't cost you the flowers.

Light

Morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal; full sun is fine in cooler regions with steady water.

Water

Water deeply once or twice a week the first year and in summer heat. It wilts fast when dry.

Planting

Plant in spring or fall with the root ball level with the soil.
