The story
An indoor palm with real height.
Long, arching, feathery fronds on a palm that arrives already tall. In the wild it grows along riverbanks in Madagascar, which explains its thirst. It wants a bright room more than most palms do.
Light
Bright, indirect light. A few hours of gentle morning sun is fine. Low light makes it pale and sparse.
Water
Keep evenly moist. Water when the top inch dries, and empty the saucer.
Pot and soil
Keep it in its nursery pot inside a decorative one the first year. Repot every two years in spring.
