The story
The office plant that earned it.
Glossy, deep green, strap-shaped leaves on upright canes. It sheds lower leaves as it grows, slowly turning into something closer to a tree. It takes a dim corner better than almost anything.
Light
Medium, indirect light is best. Tolerates low light; grows slower there.
Water
Water when the top two inches are dry. Overwatering kills more of these than anything else.
Pot and soil
Keep it in its pot for the first year. Repot every two to three years into well-draining mix.
A floor plant at real height that survives a dark corner and an irregular watering schedule.
