The story
Lacy green, red stems.
Finely cut, lacy fronds in light green on bright burgundy-red stems that glow when light comes through. It's a selection of our native northern lady fern, and it fills in quickly.
Light
Part shade to full shade. A little morning sun brightens the stems.
Water
Keep evenly moist. Dry soil browns the fronds.
Planting
Plant in spring or early fall with the crown at the surface, in soil with plenty of organic matter.
A native fern with color in the stems, not just texture.
