The story

A lemon with stripes.

Green-and-cream variegated leaves, and young fruit striped green and yellow like tiny watermelons. The stripes fade as the lemons ripen; the flesh is pale pink and properly tart. It fruits on its own, often several times a year.

Full sun outdoors; the brightest window indoors.

Deeply when the top inch is dry. Never let a pot sit in water.

Planting
