The story

Fine lines, silver glow.

Very narrow blades, each edged in a thin white line, so from a few feet away the whole clump reads soft silver. Reddish-bronze plumes come in early fall and fade to white for winter.

Light

Full sun. It takes light shade but leans.

Water

Water weekly the first summer. After that it handles heat and dry spells.

Planting

Plant in spring or early fall with the crown level with the soil.

A refined, upright maiden grass that holds its shape better than most.
