The story

A true lemon, and a tough one.

Bright, oval, seriously sour lemons with juicy, nearly seedless flesh. Lisbon handles heat and cold better than 'Eureka' and crops heavily, mostly in winter and spring. It's thorny and vigorous.

Light

Full sun outdoors; the sunniest window indoors.

Water

Water deeply when the top inch is dry, then let it drain.

Planting

Pot with drainage holes and citrus mix, or in the ground where winters are mild.

Sour lemons on demand, from the citrus most likely to survive your mistakes.
