The story
Silver fronds, wine-red hearts.
Fronds washed in deep red to burgundy through the center, edged in bright silver. It glows in a shady bed and plays well against blue hostas and dark coral bells.
Light
Part to full shade. A little morning sun deepens the color.
Water
Keep evenly moist. It tolerates some dryness once established, but looks best watered.
Planting
Plant spring or early fall, crown at soil level, in humus-rich soil.
