The story
Lights up the shade.
Creamy white centers streaked through with green, framed by a wide dark green margin, on a mound about 3 ft across. Lavender flowers rise in midsummer, but the leaves are the point.
Light
Part to full shade. Morning sun is fine; afternoon sun burns the white centers.
Water
Keep it evenly moist, especially the first year and in summer heat.
Planting
Plant in spring or early fall, crown at soil level, in soil with plenty of organic matter.
