The story

Orange-red from July on.

Hot orange-red petals that run darker toward the cone, on a well-branched plant with strong stems. It flowers from midsummer to frost, and the bees and butterflies are on it the whole time.

Light

Full sun is best. It takes light afternoon shade.

Water

Water weekly the first summer. Established plants handle dry spells.

Planting

Plant in spring or early fall, crown level with the soil. Don't bury the crown.

Long bloom in hot colors on a sturdier plant than most hybrid coneflowers.
