The story

A Florida lemon, nearly seedless.

A Lisbon-type lemon selected in Florida. Large, juicy fruit with proper lemon acidity and a thick, oily rind that makes excellent zest. Mostly seedless, and it often carries ripe fruit and blossoms at once.

Light

Full sun, eight hours if you can.

Water

Deep watering when the top inch is dry. Never waterlogged.

Planting

A raised spot in sandy, well-drained soil, or a citrus mix in a pot with drainage.

A heavy-bearing lemon for Florida gardens and sunny patios.
