The story

The white rebloomer.

Pure white, softly ruffled flowers in mid spring and again later in the season. A historic variety, around since 1982, that stays in gardens because it reblooms reliably. Upright blue-green leaves keep the bed tidy after.

Light

Full sun for the best bloom and rebloom.

Water

Water after planting and through the first few weeks. Then sparingly; a little extra in summer helps rebloom.

Planting

Plant from midsummer to early fall with the top of the rhizome at or just above the soil line, roots spread below, fan facing out. Buried rhizomes rot.

White sharpens every color near it, and this one does it twice.
