The story

Spring food for pollinators.

A mix of tulips, alliums, anemones, squill and camassia that bloom one after another from early to late spring, mostly in blues, purples and whites. It's an early nectar source when bees come out hungry.

Light

Full sun to part shade. Under deciduous trees works.

Water

Water at planting. Keep on the dry side in summer.

Planting

Plant in fall before the ground freezes. Pointy end up; anemone corms can go any way up.

Enough bulbs to plant a real sweep, with something open for weeks.
