The story
Late, blue and worth it.
A selection of a native aromatic aster with a rounded habit and masses of blue-violet daisies in late fall, after most of the garden has packed it in. Brush the leaves and you get a clean, sweet scent.
Light
Full sun. In shade it opens up and leans.
Water
Water weekly the first summer. After that it handles heat and drought.
Planting
Plant in spring or early fall in average to lean, well-drained soil.
