Citrus fertilizer every 6–8 weeks from late winter to early fall.

Light shaping after harvest. Remove shoots below the graft.

Through the year

If something's off

Yellow leaves from underfeeding or wet roots. Scale and mites indoors. Citrus is toxic to pets.

Not really a grapefruit.

A cross of mandarin and pummelo with a grapefruit's yellow rind. Inside, the flesh is orange-gold, very juicy and sweet, with almost none of grapefruit's bitterness. It has seeds. It is worth it.

Why we stock it: Juice-glass citrus for people who don't like grapefruit.
